About Us

AfSAP is made up of the chief elected officials and residents from Bridgewater, Danbury, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, New Milford, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Stamford, Weston, Westport, and Wilton in Connecticut and Pound Ridge in New York. These individuals have joined forces to oppose the FAA’s airspace redesign proposal. Residents of these communities, like many other citizens, will be adversely affected by the FAA’s plan to re-route the flight paths for operations at the region’s commercial airports, a plan that will produce unacceptable health, environmental, safety, noise and quality-of-life impacts.
